Megan grew up in the foothills of NC. Labs have been part of her family before she was even part of the family! She moved to Raleigh to attend NCSU where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Biological and Agricultural Engineering. She was a stormwater engineer for 6 years and decided that she was missing out on precious years of her and Jeff’s daughters. In 2019, moving in to what is now The Homestead opened the doors for opportunity. Megan has always had a passion for animals and was often found with one in her arms. Growing up, she always loved gardening and was raised on a 16 acre farm with cows, goats, an orchard and wait for it.. a race track! She grew up riding four wheelers and was often outdoors building forts. The Homestead brings back many memories of Megan’s childhood!
